Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is always looking for good people to join our team. You must be available to work full-time from mid-March through the end of October.

Experience in the circus business is a plus, but many enthusiastic people have successfully brought skills from other types of work to our industry. Unfortunately, our bunk space is limited, so if you are interested in working with us you will need to have your own transportation and living quarters.

Please note: We usually do not have a hard time finding unskilled laborers for tent crew and we do not place inexperienced employees in our animal department. Please inquire about positions with our company if you have specific skills or experience. If it is not a traditional circus skill or it's an "off the wall" experience, let us know what you think you would contribute to our organization.

Ticket Office & Front Door Manager
This is the perfect two-person package deal for a couple living the "RV lifestyle." Circus experience is not required, however, we are looking for individuals with backgrounds in fields like retail or even education. Morning duties would include assisting the Cookhouse department with daily purchases. Showtime duties for one person would be working in our box office while the other individual worked at our front gate greeting the public. Cookhouse privileges are provided as a courtesy, and compensation includes fuel reimbursement and salary.

24-Hour Man
Circus experience required. In fact, if you do not know what the duties are, you are probably not qualified for the position. Interested individuals must have their own transportation.

Animal Department
We are looking for individuals with experience in the care and training of exotic animals. If you have trained exotics or if you have just worked as a groom, we have positions available for you. Please contact us for more information and include a resume or description of your experience.
